Art of Movement was founded by owner and head instructor Anthony Terrell with a simple vision: to create an academy where world-class martial arts instruction, discipline, and personal growth come together under one roof.
As a proud member of the Daniel Gracie Association, Anthony’s approach to coaching is rooted in the philosophy and technical foundation he learned through Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, while also drawing from years of experience across multiple martial arts disciplines and fitness training. Those influences shape the culture of Art of Movement and the standard of instruction found in every class.
No experience needed. Most of our students, kids and adults, walk in as complete beginners. Every class is taught with beginners in mind, and our coaches will walk you through the basics from day one.
Membership options vary depending on the programs you choose and how often you’d like to train. We offer flexible plans for kids, teens, and adults, with options for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, Kickboxing, and MMA.
Yes. Our kids classes are designed specifically with safety in mind. Students are grouped by age and experience, and our instructors create a positive, controlled environment where children can build confidence, develop discipline, and learn valuable self-defense skills without unnecessary risk.
We offer classes for kids, teens, and adults of all experience levels. Whether your child is just getting started or you’re an adult looking to train for fitness, self-defense, or competition, we have programs designed to help you succeed.
Wear comfortable athletic clothing that allows you to move freely. For No-Gi Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, we recommend a fitted athletic shirt or rash guard with athletic shorts or leggings (avoid clothing with zippers or pockets whenever possible).
If you’re attending a Gi class and don’t have a gi yet, don’t worry. Many students attend their first class in athletic clothing while they decide if it’s the right fit for them. We alternate between Gi and No-Gi training weeks, and our team will be happy to let you know what to expect before your first visit.
Yes. We offer private instruction for Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Muay Thai, striking, and general fitness. Private lessons provide personalized coaching and are a great option for anyone looking to accelerate their progress, prepare for competition, or work toward specific goals.
Availability varies by instructor, so please contact us or speak with one of our coaches to learn more and find the right fit.
